I grew up skateboarding and snowboarding so any time I can design for a snowboard or skateboard company the teenager in my brain has a party. This line of tees is for a clothing company based in Nashville. They were always positive and a pleasure to work with. The whim and excitement they have for their company is intoxicating and something I am trying to duplicate with my own brand. They really want to make awesome clothing that snowboarders can dig.
One of their themes is The Yeti attacking skiers and the above tee is that theme interpreted as an Iron Maiden teeshirt. It is definitely my favorite from the line. This was seriously one of my favorite projects by far. Please support these guys and their tees! Buy them here: www.badicalstore.com

Posted in portfolio, t-shirt designs with tags BFC, screen printing on June 9, 2010 by jordanhallandThis shirt was litterally drawn and printed on a tee in about 2 hours. We wanted to do a very simple shirt that was the opposite of our other shirts that were all very planned out and purposefully intricate. We had a screen print setup in our office and I scetched out our logo and scanned it in the computer, then we burned the screen and printed it. It was a fun day at work.

But more on that later. This shirt I designed last year for One Way Board shop in California. I posted the artwork earlier this year but thought I’d show the actual shirt. There is a version printed on black that I think is the better color-way.

Drew Worsham Shirts
Posted in graphic design, t-shirt designs, Uncategorized with tags Drew Worsham, graphic design, illusionist, magician, screen printing on May 19, 2010 by jordanhallandDrew Worsham is a friend of a friend who lives in Moscow, Idaho. He also happens to be a Magician; a pretty good one too. He liked the DR tees and asked if I’d like to do a couple of shirts for him. It was a super fun assignment and Drew was the ideal client. One night I had this nightmare that I had miss-spelled something on his shirt and I proceeded to run jack Bauer style through this city trying to stop the printer before he laid ink to cotton. The next morning I told my wife how scary it was. I was very shaken by it.
Later that day I got an e-mail from Drew and he said in the nicest way possible, I love the designs but you miss-spelled my name in one of them! I was mortified! But if I ever have that dream again I will immediately check whatever I was working on the day before.
T-shirt vault: INV Artist network
Posted in graphic design, t-shirt designs, Uncategorized with tags graphic design, inv, t-shirt on May 17, 2010 by jordanhallandThis one isn’t very old but when I originally posted about the INV Artist Network I didn’t have the actual shirt yet. For some reason I tend to never wear the shirts that I design so this one has stayed in my office closet since I got it. Because I never put it on I never noticed the tag print inside. Most design work is supposed to draw attention to the client rather than the artist; you never see a signature on a magazine ad. So when I spotted the tag and my name was on it I was very grateful. It’s a nice touch that would only matter to a designer.
In the next few weeks I will have an announcement regarding INV Artist Network. Stay tuned for upcoming developments.
